Education and Training is part of the Vision 2030 Social Pillar with Kenya aiming to provide global quality education, training and research to its citizens through the establishment of centres of specialization. This links with Toyota Kenya Limited, through the introduction of Toyota Kenya Academy (TKA) which will address the critical needs for technical and entrepreneurship skilled manpower and also improve the quality and relevance to Kenya. We believe that entrepreneurship is a major source of employment, economic growth, innovation, promoting product and service quality, competition, and economic flexibility.

The training courses will be designed to create and enhance skills to ensure that those successfully qualifying will become professional practitioners in their areas of business. This will be geared towards achieving the key objective of addressing the challenges associated with limited capacity in various business sectors. In addition, the courses will help promote an increase in skilled manpower. These courses will be taught by skilled business coaches from core business areas of automotive, entrepreneurship, agriprenuership, and business skills that include marketing, human resource, financial management, supply chain and basic law providing diversity to our package.

Entrepreneurs need to be multi – skilled for the purpose of creating technical capabilities, technical functions, social insights and customer value hence the need for more entrepreneurship education graduates for the realization of Vision 2030.

Toyota Kenya Academy (TKA), a state of the art, purpose built vocational learning institution is located within the Toyota Kenya Business Park in Nairobi South C –Nairobi officially opened by His Excellency The President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday 16th July, 2014.

To provide learning opportunities that develops the skills, knowledge and attitudes of our staff, customers, stakeholders and communities.
