About The Toyota Kenya Academy

Toyota Kenya Academy was officially opened in July 2014, by The President and The Head of state His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta, as human resource development center with the aim of not only supporting Toyota Staff but also implement human resource training for local communities. This Center is in line with the Governments Vision 2030 Social Pillar aims to invest in the people of Kenya in order to improve the quality of life through education and training.

Programs offered at the Academy address the critical needs for technical and entrepreneurship skilled manpower and also improve the quality and relevance of Technical Industrial Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training (TIVET) learning institutions.

Toyota Kenya Academy Facilities

Motor Vehicle Training Unit.

The Toyota Academy has fully equipped mechanical training facility that comprises of seven service bays: 1 for trucks and 6 for cars.
The facility also has a fully equiped paint Booth facility.

Training Rooms.

The Toyota Academy building comprises of Lecture and practical rooms each with a capacity of 24 to 30 persons, practical vehicle stalls, waiting Lounge, self-study rooms, meeting room, Kaizen Dojo and a paint both. The Building is spacious, open and transparent and as such elevates thinking in line with the Toyota philosophy That “ Good Thoughts bring good ideas.

Fully equipped Canteen.

The facility also houses a fully equipped corporate/institutional kitchen canteen with a spacious dining area with a capacity to host and serve any type of meal.
